Attention – NFF Award Winner

The Toledo Wistert chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall Of Fame annually awards scholarships for use toward the continuation of a college education. Being an NFF Scholar Athlete award winner from last year, you are now eligible to apply for one of the Wistert Scholarships. Please apply with the form on this page.

The application process is automated and goes directly to the Wistert Scholarship Review Committee. The Scholarship Review Committee will determine the students who will be the scholarship awardees. Typically, the NFF chapter awards six scholarships annually averaging $2500 each. Please be thorough when completing the application, especially with the open-ended responses. The awards are based upon financial need, scholarship, college/community engagement and leadership. You will be asked to provide a narrative addressing those traits in the application. Please reflect specifically on your last six months. Especially include participation in collegiate athletics or other activities. Also, we need as much information as possible that indicates your real out-of-pocket costs to attend your college and how much you are contributing. All information is confidential.

The DEADLINE for the Wistert Scholarship Award application is January 16, 2026 (FIRM).
